Provincial Incident Management Team head Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian again tested positive for Covid-19.
Caelian said yesterday that he experienced fever on July 23, and this prompted him to isolate and undergo swab testing on Monday that yielded a positive result. He said his family members tested negative of the infection.
Other PIMT members, who were close contacts of Caelian, were also swabbed, and their office was disinfected.
Caelian said he was set to take his second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. He said he is now feeling okay, although his senses of taste and smell have yet to return.
He tested positive in March, a day before his scheduled first dose vaccination of AstraZeneca.
He is in isolation at the Mambukal Mountain Resort in Murcia, where 15 other government employees are also being quarantined.*
