No reason to split, Himamaylan City Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao declared, as he confirmed that the Tongson-Gatuslao alliance (TOGA) remains intact for 2025.

“I can confirm that the Gatuslao siblings – Board Member Rita Gatuslao, Atty. Len, and myself – are committed to the alliance that has brought significant development to our City since 2019,” the Vice Mayor said.

Gatuslao expressed confidence that he “doesn’t see any reason why the TOGA alliance should be challenged on the level of mayor and vice mayor.”

“If we don’t have any opponents this will likely play out in a 10-0 sweep for our SP slate,” he said, adding that another term for the TOGA alliance means three more years of positive collaboration for Himamaylan City.

“We only have one ‘graduating’ councilor – SP Janet Villlafranca. All the nine incumbent councilors are eligible for reelection,” Gatuslao further said.*
