Lone District of Bacolod City Rep. Greg Gasataya, alongside key officials, conducted a site visit to oversee the progress of the major flood control project at Burgos Street of the Reclamation Area Street, Bacolod City.
The project, a diversion channel managed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), aims to mitigate flooding in critical areas of the city.
During the visit, Gasataya, accompanied by the CEO and President of Almana Construction and Development Corporation (ACDC) Ritchie Neil Corpus, Senior Business Development Manager Ma. Kristina Alagaban, Engineers Lemuel Vasquez, Kimberly Meneses, Charles Alvior, District Engineer Abraham Villareal, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Assistant District Engineer Leah Jamero, and Engineer Jerold Tipawan of DPWH, inspected the ongoing construction works.
The project, a crucial endeavor to enhance Bacolod City’s infrastructure resilience, is a significant step toward mitigating flood risks and ensuring the safety and well-being of the city’s residents.
