Olivia Yanson, the 86-year-old matriarch of the Yanson group of bus companies, who is confined at the St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City for COVID-19, is feeling okay but is not out of danger yet, her daughter, Ginnette Dumancas, said yesterday.

Her mother, who is diabetic and hypertensive, still has pneumonia and COVID-19 which is a very traitorous disease, she said.

“Mommy Love may feel okay, but as what Carissa said, COVID is a very hard to cure virus and is a very tricky one. One day you will be okay, the next day you are not,” Dumancas said.

Dr. Carissa Dumancas, who works at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, is the daughter of Ginnette and Charles Dumancas.

Dumancas said she is still appealing for prayers for her mother’s recovery. Please light a candle for her, she said.

“Thank you for all of your prayers, but we still need to storm heaven with your prayers. Please pray for her,” she said.

Dumancas has tested negative for the virus but will have to undergo a second test later.*
