The arrest of Emil Mariano by PDEA operatives and local police in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, yielded about 500 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P3.4 million.

PLt. Robi Aurita, San Carlos City deputy police chief, disclosed that they monitored Mariano, 39, categorized as a high value individual drug personality, to have just received a big volume of illegal drugs from Cebu City.

Aside from suspected shabu, PDEA and the local police recovered P10,000 in marked money and a motorcycle from Mariano.

Another buy-bust operation of the police in Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City, yesterday led to the arrest of two drug suspects identified as Darry Jaud, and a 17-year-old, whose identity is being withheld, both listed as Street Level Individual drug personalities.

The arrest of two suspects yielded an estimated 15 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P105,000, and its assorted paraphernalia, P1,500 in buy bust money and an improvised explosive device (IED).*
