Eight more suspected drug personalities have been accounted for by the police, through their arrests, in separate buy bust operations on January 29 in Negros Occidental.
An estimated 26 grams of suspected shabu with a street market value of P176,800, were recovered by the police during a buy bust operation San Julio Subdivision in Brgy 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Also nabbed by the police were Oscar Siroy Jr., 30, and Mariel Paslon, 24, both residents of Ylagan Extension, Brgy. 6, San Carlos City.
Aside from the suspected shabu, the police also recovered assorted illegal drug paraphernalia, P600 in marked money and P500 in cash.
Two other drug suspects identified as Norman and Billy Taroballes were also apprehended by the police in another buy bust operation at Purok Paglaum in Brgy. Tanza, EB Magalona.
Their arrests yielded an estimated five grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P34,000 and marked money of P500, among other items.
Four more drug suspects were accounted for also by the police, following their apprehensions in Murcia and Manapla towns, as well as cities of Himamaylan and Talisay, all in Negros Occidental.
Nabbed were Norman Modesto, Stephen Deslate, Jomar Romay and Reynaldo Dilag.
The police also recovered total of 6.60 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P44,880, marked money of P2,000 and P480 in cash.*
