The League of Cities of the Philippines congratulated His Excellency President Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos, Jr. on his assumption as the 17th Chief Executive of the Republic.
“We enjoin everyone to heed the President’s call for unity in the midst of the multi-faceted challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economic slowdown and concerns over energy crisis and the ill effects of climate change, among others,” LCP national president Evelio Leonardia said in a statement.
“We, at the LCP, wish President Marcos, Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, members of the Cabinet and his economic managers all the best in the days and months ahead,” Leonardia added.*
