The moratorium on inbound travel of locally stranded individuals to the cities of Sagay, Bago and La Carlota City in Negros Occidental, has been approved by the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (RIATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Starting Nov. 26 to Dec. 10, the Sagay City government will not allow the entry of LSIs to the city, pending the disinfection and decongestion of its quarantine facilities.
As approved by RIATF, the suspension of the arrival of LSIs in Bago City will take effect from Nov. 26 to Dec. 5, while the moratorium on the arrival of LSIs in La Carlota City will start from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2 next year.
The RIATF also approved the request of the La Carlota City government for the inclusion of overseas Filipino workers in the suspension of inbound travelers to the city, from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2.
The return of LSIs to Ilog was also suspended, from Dec. 20 to Jan. 3, according to an earlier decision of the RIATF.
