Two houses in Providencia Subdivision, Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City, were destroyed when a fire broke out past noontime Saturday.
The fire that started at about 12:27 p.m. damaged the houses owned by Rodulfo Ligna and Lenny Ligna. The Bureau of Fire Protection-Bacolod estimated the damage at about P1,200.
No one was hurt from the incident.
Bacolod Fire Marshal Chief Insp. Stephen Jardeleza, earlier, reminded the public to “take extra caution” in order to prevent the occurrence of fire in their homes since we are still experiencing El Niño.*
