A 67-year old American is now detained at the police custodian facility in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, allegedly for alarm and scandal.
The complainant, a passenger bus driver, told the police that the foreigner created a scandalous act after hitting a cane on the glass door of a Ceres Liner air conditioned bus bound for Dumaguete City, on May 29, without any reason.
When the passenger bus stopped, he immediately boarded and scolded the driver. The incident caused discomfort and panic among its passengers, a report from the Pontevedra Police Station said.
The foreigner, who was unruly, suffered injuries when he resisted arrest, according to the police.*
