The apprehension of two siblings, both female, during a buy bust operation in in Sitio Dapdap, Brgy. Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental, yesterday yielded an estimated two kilos of suspected shabu.
The confiscated shabu has a market value of P13,668,000, according to the police.
Nabbed during the joint operation of RDEU 6 and Silay City police force were Angie Dumdumaya, 30, and her younger sister, Angielyn, 25, both High Value Individuals in illegal drugs operations.

PLt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesperson of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial office, yesterday raised the possibility that the confiscated contraband is earmarked for distribution during the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City, to be held on October.
Catalogo added that the two siblings were placed under surveillance by the police for some time, as they were monitored to have been distributing large volumes of illegal drugs.
PBrig. Gen. Leo Francisco, regional police director of Western Visayas, lauded the accomplishments of RDEU 6 and the Silay City police, as he also wants a deeper investigation into the source of illegal drugs.
May this arrest serve as a stern warning to those who still engage in illegal drug activities, to better stop and submit yourself to authorities. If not, you will certainly be our next subject for police operations, Francisco added in a statement issued by PRO 6.
Another buy-bust operation on August 27 at Purok Kadena in Brgy. 29, Bacolod City, also led to the apprehension of a drug suspect identified as Harper Hojilla, alias Har, that yielded 37 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P261,600, marked money of P1,000 and P200 in cash.*
