The Philippine National Police temporarily deployed 103 new graduates in Bacolod to help in keeping peace and order in the city, P/Major Sherlock Gabana said.

Gabana, the spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police Office, said the deployment was composed of 14 policewomen and 89 policemen, who arrived in Bacolod City on Thursday.

BCPO director, P/Col Manuel Placido, said they will be assigned to various police stations for six months to undergo Field Training Program on Traffic, Investigation, and Patrol Phase, and will be under the supervision of the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.

Placido reminded the new police personnel to always perform their job well, respect the most vulnerable members of society, and give more service to the less fortunate and the needy.

He encouraged them to be good role models and give their uniforms the highest respect.

P/Lt. Col. Edcille Canals, director of the Regional Training Center 6, also paid a courtesy call on Placido to facilitate the deployment of the newly-recruited cops.*
