GSIS program supports La Castellana school

GSIS Bacolod Branch Manager Glorietta Dublas turns over a computer package and other learning devices to the Mansalanao Elementary School in La Castellana, Negros Occidental on March 8*

As part of GSIS’ corporate social responsibility, in partnership with the Department of Education, GSIS Bacolod Branch Manager Glorietta Dublas turned over a computer package – 4 laptops, 5 50-inch Smart TVs, 3 printers, 4 desktop computers – and other learning devices to the Mansalanao Elementary School in La Castellana, Negros Occidental on March 8, under its Adopt-A-School Program.

The learning support equipment were received by Joy Cumla, head teacher II; Dannie Clark Uguil, officer-in-charge-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, South Negros; lawyer Melchor Villabos, attorney III of Legal Unit, DepEd Region VI; La Castellana Mayor Alme Rhummyla Nicor-Mangilimutan; Ma. Tressa Elbanbuena, PSDS, District of La Castellana I; Maricel Egualan, barangay captain; and Leah Rose Clarin, General PTA president.

The educational technology assistance will be used by 435 pupils and 16 teachers of Mansalanao Elementary School to enhance teaching techniques and level up learning capabilities in the school.*
