Seda Capitol Central Hotel announced in a press release that it won the Supervisory Category in the Mabuhay Awards for both 2022 and 2023. According to a press release from the hotel, its dedication to excellence and exceptional service has been recognized by the Association of Human Resources Managers in the Hospitality Industry (AHRM).
2023 WINNER
On November 27, Ryan Ernesto, the hotel’s Housekeeping Supervisor, attended the 26th Mabuhay Awards at the Westin Hotel and has been recognized with the Mabuhay Award for his exceptional work as part of the housekeeping team.
This year’s awards theme is “Ako ay Pilipino — PILI at PINO,” setting the highest and finest standards for Filipino hoteliers. Aptly, Ryan has always been praised for his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
In his speech, Ryan, a Cum Laude graduate of BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, highlighted his struggles from completing his college education to pursuing a career as a hotelier, an opportunity Seda Hotels has entrusted him. “I say to myself, ‘Trust the process.’ I know I’m in the right company.” He further shared how he was able to realize his dreams for himself and his family because of this opportunity.
2022 WINNER
Lady Dianne Araneta, the Assistant Front Office Manager of the hotel, was honored with the Mabuhay Award in 2022 for her exceptional leadership and her ability to inspire those around her.
Even when she was still starting as a Front Office Associate, Dianne has always ensured exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service. Her ability to lead and motivate her team has been instrumental in the hotel’s continued success.
Her career progression is a testament to her outstanding performance. She was promoted to Front Office Supervisor in 2020, and to her current position in 2022.
