Moises Padilla town will soon have its two-storey Covid-19 isolation facility in Barangay 6.
The facility, worth P4 million, will have 14 rooms.
Mayor Ella Garcia-Yulo, who visited the facility early this week, said the budget of the edifice was sourced from the P11 million Bayanihan grant the town received from the national government.
The remaining budget was allocated for the town’s Covid-19 response.
Yulo said they established the building because she is expecting the province’s isolation facility and their quarantine centers to be overwhelmed.
Currently, the town has two quarantine centers and may reach its maximum capacity soon.
The Covid-19 center, which was constructed in July, is expected to be completed in November this year.*
