The reelection bid of Eugenio Jose Lacson as governor of Negros Occidental got the full support of the Vicmico Planters Association Inc, Vicmico Planters’ Multi-Purpose Cooperative and VMC Farmers’ Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
They described Lacson as a “true public servant.”
In a statement, the three groups cited the track record of Lacson in public service, saying that over the years, the governor has proven his worth as a leader.
The Vicmico PA, Inc. is headed by Aurelio “Bodie” Valderrama as president, while the Vicmico Planters’ Association Multi-Purpose Cooperative is chaired by Joemarie Montinola.
Pepe Ledesma is chairman of the VMC Farmers’ Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
“Let us unite for the continued progress of our province,” the three groups appealed.
They further pointed out that they are rallying behind Lacson because he is a hardworking public official, helpful, a principled leader and a man of integrity.*
