The Securities and Exchange Commission will hold today a webinar on how to start a micro, small or medium enterprise (MSME), its Bacolod City information officer, Clyde Padilla, said.

The webinar will start at 1 p.m. and will be streamed live on its Facebook page, she said, adding that it is part of the “SEC CAN!” webinar series that aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of stakeholders on programs, services, and initiatives of the commission.

She added this will also make the public understand and manage investment risks and reduce their vulnerability to fraudulent schemes.

SEC Commissioner Javey Paul Francisco is set to give the opening remarks, while director Gerardo del Rosario of the Company Registration and Monitoring Department will deliver the closing message.

Interested applicants can register online at https://forms.gle/DHJe3zbmpEXFKetD7.

The first webinar of the series was held on August 12 and discussed “SECuring the Philippine Capital Market and the Business Sector”.*
