The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority turned over 50 starter toolkits to Kabankalan scholars in rites held at the Kabankalan City Training Center Monday.
Vice Mayor Raul Rivera and Engr. Noel Sevilla received the starter toolkits in behalf of the scholars from Tesda Administrator Ernesto Duremdes, a press release from the city said.
Students of the pre-training course on Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC1 and NC2 also availed of free book allowance and starter toolkits.
Mayor Pedro Zayco said the partnership of the Kabankalan City government and Tesda “will upskill the trainees and enable them to become more productive even in this time of the pandemic,” the press release added.*
