The Negros Museum in Bacolod City is hosting an all-women Korean art exhibition from April 19 to 22.

Bacolod Councilor Em Ang, chair of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on History, Culture and Arts, was guest of honor at the opening. She was joined by Kim Mun Jung and Park Soyun.

Among the exhibiting artists is Park Sang Jeon who had 12 solo art exhibitions out of the 170 shows she participated in, in Korea and abroad. She had also been invited to hold solo exhibitions at the Korean Cultural Center in Vienna, Australia Prague; the Korean Cultural Center in Budapest, Hungary, and in the Czech Republic.

She is a member of the Korea Art Association; director general of the Korean Women’s Artists Association; director general of the 21st Century Korean Painting Bureau Bucheon Catholic Artists’ Association; and a judge of the Korean Art Exhibition.*
