A kayaking competition will be held at the Bacolod Baywalk Recreational Park on April 6 as one of the events of the 1st Bacolod Watersports Festival 2024 that will run from March 16 to April 28.
The 800-meter seafront of the Bacolod Baywalk hosted various water sports and other related activities last March such as bancarera, beach volleyball, boat tug-of-war, paddling, and inflatable games like Zorb ball and banana boat ride.
Aside from the kayaking competition, other events scheduled for April are the swimming marathon on April 7; Campuestohan Fun Run with Bubble Party on April 13; game fishing competition on April 14; Motor Exhibition Week on April 15 to 19; Yacht Club on April 19; Motor Festival on April 20; sound off exhibition on April 21; Electric Fluvial Parade, closing and awarding ceremonies on April 27; and Coachella By the Bay (a concert-art-fashion event) on April 27 and 28.*
