Active Covid-19 cases in Negros Occidental have shown a drop in the past several days, the Provincial Incident Management Team said yesterday.
The active cases were from 90 on Feb. 2, 101 on Feb. 4, 98 on Feb. 7, and 87 as of Tuesday, the PIMT report added.
The seven local government units in Negros Occidental with no new active infections are the municipalities of Ilog, La Castellana, Pulupandan, Binalbagan, and Candoni, and the cities of Himamaylan and Victorias.
San Carlos City is a consistent topnotcher in terms of active cases with 23, as of Feb. 9, the PIMT reported. Bacolod City, on the other hand, has 102 cases.*
