Oil companies and distributors surprised consumers with a big increase in the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products at the start of the new year.
Petron hiked LPG prices by P4.16 per kilogram and its AutoLPG increased by P2.33 per liter.
Phoenix LPG hiked Phoenix Super LPG price by P4.15 per kilogram, while AutoLPG price increased by P2.35 per liter.
Solane-branded LPG also increased its prices by P3.73 per kilogram. These increments translate to P41.03 to P45.76 increase in prices of an 11-kilogram LPG tank.*PNA
