Is former Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia planning a political comeback in 2025?
His frequent exposure in social media recently gave rise to speculations that he is planning to return to politics again.
Leonardia said he is being asked about his political plans for the next election everytime he goes around.
“I am being asked if I am running again. Because of that I am trying to consult with different friends. We will make an assessment of the situation and make a decision in due time,” he said.
“In the meantime, we will just let nature take its course,” Leonardia said in his first presscon following his defeat in the 2022 elections.
“I’ll take this opportunity and serve notice to my friends, supporters and believers that Bing Leonardia is still around. That’s what is important,” he said.
When asked if there is a possibility that he will return to politics, Leonardia answered, “Anything is possible.”*
