A back-to-back art exhibit will open at the Brainy Paintworks art gallery at 18th Street-San Agustin Drive in Bacolod City on May 1.

The show, organized by Raw Art Bacolod, and titled “Art Evolution”, will feature the works of Noby Juno and Pablita Romorosa, 11.

Both Juno and Romorosa use mixed media and have held several group exhibits in Bacolod City.

The art gallery also serves as a place where artists meet to conduct art activities, like art lessons, while enjoying food served by a nearby café, its resident artist, Eufemia Sasedor, said.

Konica Faustino (6th from left, standing) celebrated her birthday in Bacolod City Friday with pastor Adrian Llamas, Pablita Romorosa, Dynalin Tan (l-r, seated); Jacon Graellos, Rose Jimeno, Noby Juno, Oracle and Chin Romorosa, Teresa Bernadas, and Eufemia Sasedor (l-,r, standing)*

Sasedor said the gallery opened on March 20 with the objective of providing local artists, who have not been given a chance to display their artworks, a venue for their talents to be discovered with the assistance of Raw Art Bacolod, founded by Chin Guanzon-Romorosa.

Board members of RAB are Konica Tracy Faustino, Pablita Romorosa, Rose Emilia, Dynalin Tan, Alexa Escanillan, Sheen Diatera, Noby Juno, Marcelino Jo, Cresline Curziga, Alden Macazar, and Rez Galvez. Its organizers are Sasedor and Teresa Bernadas.*
