The “Sayaw sa Cuyo” dance performance of Cadiz City was adjudged over-all champion after besting 24 other LGUs in the 2024 Panaad sa Negros Folk Dance Competition, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City on Wednesday.
Other winners were “Inagta” of the Municipality of Manapla – first runner-up, “Subli” of the Municipality of Binalbagan – second runner-up, “Balse ng Desposorio” of Bacolod City – third runner up, and “Bailo de los Pastores” of Silay City – fourth runner-up.
Consolation prizes were awarded to “Salidsid” of Talisay City, “Panaad Saot kay San Roque” of Victorias City, and “Bayluhan” of San Carlos City.*
