The Bacolod Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit recorded an average Covid-19 positivity rate of 30.09 percent, as of Saturday.
Sixty-one Covid related admissions were also noted at the government-owned Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
Of the number, 42 were confirmed to be Covid infections and six of the patients are now on mechanical ventilation, the hospital said.
The CLMMRH also announced that 35 of its staff members tested positive for Covid since July 2.
About 76 others are under quarantine, too, for high-risk exposure to Covid patients, it added.
The vaccination of CLMMRH personnel and their families is ongoing, it also said, adding that 3,088 of them have been inoculated, with 2,270 getting the full dose.
Now that Bacolod and Negros Occidental are under the General Community Quarantine, the CLMMRH CESU is expecting a decline in Covid cases, the hospital management said.
It added that the hospital will continue to accept moderate to severe Covid cases, through coordinated transfers. The hospital hotlines 0917-1007093 and 701-7865 are open for those who have queries regarding Covid-19 admissions.*
