The Local Government of Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB) has fully paid the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) its social insurance premium arrears and interest, covering the period July 1997 to December 2012, amounting to P15,213,588.43.
This was achieved through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between GSIS and LGU DSB executed on December 29, 2022.
Former OIC-Vice President for Visayas Operations Deity Manampan, current OIC-Vice President for Visayas Ireen Dimaano, and Bacolod Branch Office Manager Cecilia Tenaja turned over a Certificate of Full Payment to DSB Mayor Laurence Marxlen Dela Cruz, Municipal Treasurer Engr. Jose Maria Gecosala, Ariel Marapo, Sanggunian Secretary, and Agency ERF Handler/Payroll Officer/ Liaison Officer Erick John Celeste.
Also present were Leilani Mangabat, Division Chief of Billing Collection and Reconciliation Division; Melanie Balbuena, Staff Officer III; and Rhandale Alojado of Billing and Collection Unit (BCU).
