The Fil-Sino Athletic Club started its 2nd Conference Monday night, April 24, at the Luis T. Ong Sports Pavilion with a double header from Class B Category.

Kim Dimaranan scored 20 points to lead Basecom against AACI Transport 93-88 in the prelude game.  They started strong and lead by double digit after the first quarter 33-22 with Carl Ginete dropping four triples.

AACI Transport showed a different attitude in the second quarter and tied the score at 48, as Jappy Cuaycong dropped four bombs from behind the arc. However, Basecom outscored the AACI in the third quarter, 29-18, behind RJ Guerrero’s three triples. The latter tried to mount a comeback in the final quarter but it wasn’t enough, allowing Basecom to win their first game.

Tata Javillo added 18 points, while Micho Yee, Carl Ginete, and RJ Guerrero had 12 points apiece for the Basecom.

Jappy Cuaycong scored the game high 24 points for AACI Transport, while Nico Lopingco, Edward Baniel, and Allen Dela Gente added 9 points each.

The second game was discontinued in the middle of the third quarter due to power interruption, and will resume on a different day.*
