A Danish national and his companion are now in jail following their arrest for allegedly mauling a woman in Brgy. 1, San Carlos City in Negros Occidental Tuesday.
Nabbed were Nour Raad Abdul Kadhim, 40, and Leonardo Buscado.
Initial police investigation showed that complainant Maria Daniela Anonas was forcibly dragged by Kadhim into the house of Buscado, where she was hit several times in the face by the foreigner.
Kadhim, who was armed with a bladed weapon, also threatened to kill the complainant if she will report the incident to the police, while she was being held by Buscado, the police said.
The incident was immediately reported by the victim to the police, who immediately conducted an investigation and pursuit operation, that led to the arrest of the two suspects.*
