The drug clearing validations of nine candidate barangays in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental are ongoing.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Occidental conducted virtual validations of barangays that have applied for drug clearing status recently, the PDEA-6 said.
Candidate barangays validated include Brgy. 32 in Bacolod; barangays XVI and XVI-A in Victorias City; Agboy, Haba and Payauan in Candoni; and Baviera, Divina Colonia and Sewahon 1 in Sagay City, all in Negros Occidental, PDEA records show.
Members of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program teams scrutinized the documents submitted by the candidate barangays, and their officials answered questions.
Concerned local government unit officials, barangay captains, chiefs of police, and representatives from agencies also attended the virtual validation.*
