Gun enthusiasts avail of LTOFP caravan in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.*

About 200 gun owners and enthusiasts from E. B. Magalona and nearby local government units renewed the licenses of their firearms at the one-day License To Own and Possess Firearm Registration (LTOPFR) Caravan, held yesterday at the town plaza covered court of E. B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.

P/Capt. Eric Doronila, acting EB Magalona police chief, disclosed that Mayor Marvin Malacon requested the Police Regional Office 6 the conduct of a LTOPFR Caravan in his municipality, so that Saraviahanons need not travel to Iloilo City to renew their firearms’ licenses.

Doronila thanked Malacon for funding the one-stop-shop caravan, which ran from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The E.B. Magalona caravan offered four services: (1) Issuance of National Police Clearance, (2) Status Verification from Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), (3) Neuro-Psychiatric Clearance, and (4) Drug Test Clearance.

Also availing of the caravan services were gun owners from the cities of Bacolod, Talisay, Silay, Victorias, and Cadiz and the town of Manapla, Doronila said.*
