The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod is requesting the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), thru its general manager and CEO Janilo Rubiato, to furnish it a list of pending and approved applications for reclamation within the jurisdiction of Bacolod City.
The resolution authored by Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson said there has been a rise in applications for reclamation in Bacolod.
It said the city government would like to be appraised of the list of pending and approved applications for reclamation within the jurisdiction of the City of Bacolod.
The aforementioned list is needed by the city government in order to strategically plan the expansion and use of the shoreline of city, the resolution said.
A copy of the resolution will be sent to the PRA for its information and appropriate action, it added.*
