Five more drug personalities have been accounted for by the police, following their arrests on April, in Negros Occidental, which yielded about P47,000 worth of illegal drugs
The arrest of a junk shop worker on Sunday in Brgy. 2, Himamaylan City, yielded about two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,600 and its paraphernalia, as well as a caliber .22 revolver with five ammunition.
Two other drug suspects, a laborer and a tricycle driver, were also arrested Sunday night at Purok So-ol, Barangay San Juan, Binalbagan, during a buy bust operation which resulted in the confiscation of another two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,400, and P500 in marked money.
Two more grams of similar prohibited drugs with a market value of P13,400 were also confiscated by the police from a 49-year-old widower also on Sunday, at Purok Sampaguita in Brgy. 14B, Talisay City.
The apprehension of a 40-year-old construction worker at Sitio Tanulo in Brgy. Pilar, Hinigaran, also yielded a gram of suspected shabu with a market value of P6,800, marked money of P500, and P700 in cash, according to reports of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.*
