A 57-year-old landowner was injured after a gun attack on Saturday in Brgy. Dolis, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Police investigations showed that the victim, whose identity they withheld, was distributing the salaries of their workers at their store when one of the suspects shot her at the abdomen.
Other suspects also fired their guns outside the residence of the victim.
Tagged as suspects in the shooting incident were the two brothers-in-law and five nephews of the victims, whose identities were also withheld by the police.
The victim is now being treated for her injuries at the San Carlos City Hospital.*
