Four suspected drug personalities were arrested by the police in separate buy bust operations on May 9 in Negros Occidental, resulting in the seizure of P15,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Nabbed were Jimmy Hilado, Lara Mae Lubas, Danilo Serfino, and Rey Tolledo.
The apprehension of Hilado in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, yielded 1.7 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P7,276, while recovered from Lubas during her arrest in Brgy. Sag-ang, La Castellana, were 0.53 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P3,570.
On the other hand, the arrest of Serfino yielded P500 worth of suspected shabu in Brgy. Caridad, Bago City, while seized from Tolledo during his apprehension in Brgy. Balintawak, Escalante City, was P4,760 worth of suspected shabu and P500 in marked money, according to police.
The four suspects are now locked up in jail, facing charges for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.*
