The Bacolod City Police Office is still validating claims about the reported abduction of a woman Thursday night at 19th Lacson Street in Bacolod City.

Lt. Col. Ariel Pico, BCPO spokesperson, said yesterday that no one has surfaced or reported to any police precinct that an abduction had, indeed, taken place.

Pico said they have yet to receive a complaint on the alleged abduction.

Station 2 police chief, P/Capt. Leo Estopa, said there are allegations of a woman being forcibly dragged into a sports utility vehicle by an unidentified suspect, based on the claims of a witness.

Estopa also said that the witness took note of the plate number of the vehicle, and the police are now validating the information.*GPB
