The Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, headed by Auxiliary National Director Vice Admiral Jorge Lim, recently held a powerhouse oath-taking and promotion ceremony of distinguished PCGA members as officers of the National Auxiliary Main Office in Manila.
The day began with the arrival honors given to Negrense PCGA National Director Aux. VAdm. Jorge Lim, at the national headquarters of the Philippine Coast Guard.
This honorable welcome was preceded by the much awaited assumption and promotion ceremony held at the Heritage Hotel, Manila and with the honorable Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu as the inducting officer.
Promoted to Auxiliary Rear Admiral were Aux. Commo Manolita Faelnar, Deputy National Director for Operations; Aux. Commo Jesus Domingo, Director, National External Affairs Support Group; Aux. Commo. Jose Marie de la Peña, Director International External Affairs Support Group; Aux. Commo. Joy Puno, Director, Information, Communication and Technology Support Group; and Aux. Commo. Nelson Guevarra, Director, Logistics and Finance Support Group.
Promoted to Auxiliary Commodore were Aux. Captain Manny Go, Director MCOMREL Support Group; Aux. Capt. Ferdinand Romero, Director, MARSAF Support Group; Aux Capt. Rassel Faustino, Director, MARSAR Support Group; Aux Capt. Firouz Tolouei, Director, Protocol Support Group; Aux. Captain Bethlehem Holaysan Jr., Director, Maritime Recreational Safety Support Group; Aux. Capt. Ludwig Amandoron, Director, Youth Development Program; Aux. Capt. Warren So, Director, NSTP Support Group; Aux Capt. Miguel Bautista, Dep Director, National External Affairs; Aux. Capt. Antonio Morales, Deputy Director, International External Affairs; Aux. Capt. Elena Laurio, Austin Chua and Peter John Pacheco. Promoted Auxiliary Commanders were Aux. LCDRs Melvin Dalangin, Aurie Holaysan, Karen Guevarra, Dalisay Vente, Cristina Yee, Anabelle Moser, Mark Jayson Montales, Jonne Go, Lorela Morata, Christopher Go and Aux. Lcdr Paul Eric G. Antonio as DCS for Operations / Flag Lieutenant.
Auxiliary Captain Radjie Caram Jr., PCGA, was appointed as public information officer of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, National Auxiliary Main Office.*
