Bacolod City will be represented by the Bacolod Football League (BFL) Elite in the 2024 Laguna Premier Cup, a press release from the organizers said.
The Laguna Premier Cup will be held from April 13 to 14 at the Laguna Sports Complex in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, where about 2,500 players, coaches, and staff from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be participating.
The BFL Elite is composed of players from different football clubs from different schools in Bacolod City.
The BFL will be competing in four age categories of the Laguna Premier Cup, including U8, U10, U12 and U14.
According to the head of the delegation, Jeffrey Velez, the tournament will provide wide exposure and experience for the players from Bacolod City.
The Bacolod teams will be headed by coaches Antonio Marco, Arlu Marcelino, and Chico Valencia, while Julie Ann Masculino will serve as general coordinator.*
