The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod requested the Human Resource Management Services (HRMS) to conduct capability development training for city government employees who are regularly dealing with the constituents of Bacolod City.
The resolution authored by Councilor Simplicia Distrito said it is the aim of the City Government of Bacolod to provide its constituents with the most efficient, effective and responsive kind of service in all its offices.
The city government has offices that usually deal with clientele from all walks of life, particularly the Permits and Licensing Division, City Treasurer’s Office, the Office of the Building Official, the Office of the Civil Registrar, and others, it said.
With the on-going operation of the Bacolod-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, it is then necessary that personnel giving frontline services to our constituents be equipped with the essential skills and techniques that will enhance their capabilities, the resolution said.*
