Art Studio Forty Nine has an ongoing group exhibition of the artworks of its students at the West Bridgeway of SM City Bacolod.
Rodney Martinez, past president of the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros, led the opening of the show “Create and Connect” which will run until the end of April. Joining him at the opening were AAB members Sandy Solinap, Patty Ong, Noel Martinez, and Jenevieve Abeto, the owner of Art Studio Forty Nine.
Abeto said the artworks on exhibit are a result of their one-on-one art sessions with their students.
“We teachers connect to our students and that is where we build our relationship. We are thankful that the students of Art Studio Forty Nine are very close to us and we are like a family. We also thank the parents for giving their children a chance to learn from us,” she said.*
