A resolution requesting Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) to furnish the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod reports on the status, causes, and action taken on the series of power tip-off/outages for the month of April, was approved by the SP Wednesday.
The resolution authored by Councilor Claudio Puentevella said Bacolod resident consumers of Ceneco experienced numerous instances of power interruption for the past weeks. That in several instances, most power interruptions are unscheduled which causes inconvenience to the resident consumers.
It is requested from the Central Negros Cooperative (CENECO) to furnish the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod written reports in regards to the causes of the frequent power interruption and also to provide written report on status of such, and what are the course of action taken to mitigate or the rectify the same.*
