Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson lauded the opening and expansion of the Ceres Pasalubong outside of Bacolod City.
When one door closes, another will open as the saying goes, Lacson, who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Ceres Pasalubong at the Gaisano Grand in Silay City on June 25, said.
The opportunity is not only for Silay City, but for the whole Western Visayas, Lacson said, as he thanked the mall management for allowing Ceres Pasalubong to open the new branch there.
Lacson wished the new business good luck, adding that, with the blessings of Fr. Bong Gamala, the Lord will shower His blessing upon the branch in Silay.
General manager Bong Rubino said the Ceres Pasalubong, that used to be located at the bus terminal when it started in 2018, is now in supermarkets.
It has a partnership with the mall for the operation of its stores all over Western and Eastern Visayas, Rubino said.
More outlets will soon open in the cities of Bacolod and Kabankalan, Rubino said.
“With God’s grace and the prayers of all, we hope all of these will be realized soon, so that we can bring back the success that we had been experiencing before,” he added.*
