Barangay Granada dominated the 2022 MassKara Street and Arena Dance Competition at the Paglaum Sports Complex in Bacolod City Sunday and received the P1 million cash prize.
The grand champion and hall of famer was also adjudged as Most Disciplined and Best in Music and received P25,000 for each of the special awards.
First runner-up was Barangay Sum-ag which received P500,000 in cash. It also received P25,000 in cash for being adjudged Best in Mask and Costume.
Barangay Estefania was second runner-up and received P300,000 in cash. It was also adjudged Best in Theme and Concept and received P25,000.
Barangay 35 was third runner-up, receiving P250,000, while Barangay Singcang-Airport was fourth runner-up and received P150,000.
Barangay Tangub was fifth runner-up, followed by Barangay 31 – sixth runner-up and Barangay Alangilan – seventh runner-up.
Barangay Alijis was adjudged Best in Introduction and received P25,000 in cash.
The result of the MassKara street and arena dance competition was based on the following criteria: arena performance – 60 percent and street performance – 40 percent.*
