Negros Occidental Gov Eugenio Jose Lacson blacklisted three employees of a cable firm yesterday from entering the province again for failure to comply with a provincial government Covid-19 health protocol.
The three entered Negros Occidental on Sept. 15 via the Bacolod-Silay Airport and refused to undergo the required tests for Covid-19 and left the province on Sept. 19, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said.
The governor said the three are Froilan Cris Tungol, Jestoni Absin Mangulabnan, and Jim Batiduan Valerio.
Pursuant to Republic Act 11332, or the “Mandatory reporting of Notifiable Disease and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act”, the governor said the three pose a risk to the public health and safety of the people of Negros Occidental.
The governor, in separate letters, informed Capt. Jim Sydiongco, director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, and the officials of the three airlines that fly to Bacolod-Silay Airport of the blacklisting of the three.*
