The Himamaylan City Police Station did it again.
Under the leadership of P/Maj. Romeo Vargas, the station topped the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) anew for the month of January.
NOCPPO records show that the Himamaylan police bested 31 other police stations in the operational and administrative aspects of the performance evaluation rating, with an average of 100 percent rating.
The Sipalay City Police Station ranked second with an average of 92.81 percent, Talisay CPS – 92.32 percent, Kabankalan CPS – 92.13 percent, and Valladolid PS – 92 percent.
Vargas said Himamaylan CPS also topped the UPER among 31 police stations in Negros Occidental, excluding Bacolod City, in May, October, and November last year. Mayor Raymund Tongson lauded the city police for a job well done and in ensuring peace and order in Himamaylan City.*
