Residents of Isabela in Negros Occidental that are PAG-IBIG members may soon avail of housing through a project facilitated by the municipal government, Mayor Irene Montilla disclosed yesterday.
Montilla, her son, Vice Mayor Juan Miguel Montilla, and Charles Anthony Dumancas, president and chief executive officer of Homeworld Construction, yesterday led the groundbreaking rites of the proposed housing subdivision in Brgy. 9, Isabela.
This will be the phase one of the housing project, where almost 300 units will be constructed, Montilla said.
It will be a partnership between PAG IBIG and its developer, Homeworld Construction, while the municipal government provided the six hectare lot, she added.
Montilla said the recipients will start payment of the amortization, after occupying the housing unit, without any down payment.
The construction of the phase 1 of the Nayon Panubli-on Housing Project units is expected to start by May or June this year, she added.
The municipal government of Isabela also allocated a 10,097 square meter lot to the Central Philippine State University, Isabela National High School Extension – 10,013 square meters, for the PNP Special Action Forces a total land area of 15,752 square meters, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – 2,184.30 square meters. The evacuation center is allocated a total of 4,169 square meters, and two commercial lots with an area of 4,777.50 and 4,776 square meters.*
