The number of COVID-19 infected police personnel in Western Visayas is now down to one as December 8, records of the PNP Health Service show.
The infected police personnel is a member of the Negros Occidental Police Office, while the five other provincial police offices and two city police offices have zero cases.
The PNP Health Service recorded seven deaths from last year up to December 8 this year.
A total of 1,957 police personnel assigned in Region 6 tested positive for COVID-19 in the same period, of which 1,589 already recovered, the report added.
