P25M Himamaylan City police station breaks ground

Mayor Raymund Tongson recently led the groundbreaking ceremony of the two-storey Himamaylan City Component City Police Station building, a press release from Himamaylan PIO said.

The new station building worth P24,979,760 is funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2024.

Tongson said the new station building is one of the legacy projects of his administration.

“This new infrastructure will upgrade the services and improve the peace and security of the city of Himamaylan,” he added.

The mayor was accompanied by Himamaylan CCPS chief PLtCol. Anthony Grande during the groundbreaking on February 27.

Also present were PMaj. Dennis Chio, OIC of REU6, PBGen. Jack Wanky, acting Regional Director of PRO6, PCol. Rainerio De Chavez, OIC of NOCPPO, and Hernan Julian Gatuslao representing 5th District Rep. Dino Yulo, along with officers from the Western Visayas Police Regional Office and Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.*
