Province logs 81 COVID-19 cases

Negros Occidental logged a total of 81 COVID-19 cases, with 14 new cases reported yesterday, according to a report issued by the Provincial Incident Management Team.

The province-wide caseload is now 44,873, with 42,717 recoveries, and 2,070 fatalities, from March 27, 2020, to April 27 this year.

A report of the Department of Health showed that Western Visayas ranked third with highest number of cases all over the country, in infections in the recent two weeks, with 355.

Negros Occidental remains at Alert Level 2, with highly urbanized Bacolod City keeping its status on Alert Level 1.*
