Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia attended to the senior citizens in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City as they received their social pension payout yesterday.
Each recipient received P3,000 representing their social pension for the second semester of 2021 (July to December).
A total of 2,713 Bacolod senior citizens from 61 barangays got their social pension distributed by the DSSD Thursday and yesterday.
The total amount distributed was P8,139,000.
Assisting in the distribution are Villamonte Barangay Captain Rommel Flores and kagawads.
Among the barangays with the biggest number of beneficiaries are Handumanan – 146, Banago – 122, Taculing – 119, Bata – 118, Mansilingan – 117, Tangub – 115, Singcang-Airport – 112, Villamonte – 108, Mandalagan – 107, and Estefania – 105.*
